That way you can’t have different versions of the same data and lose your database integrity. That’s what I want to have this work so that I can collect the data in Address book and so long as I put in a keyword in the Note fired then the information will also propagate into Bento also. So I don’t have to have Bento open all the time but when I do open the application I will have all at my finger tips. Why I think Bento is so useful is because it is easy to set up extra fields for information that you want to track and even though it isn’t a relational database like Filemaker is it so much better that keeping your data in a spreadsheet table.

When I got up this morning and checked my web site at Mac20 Questions I found a message telling me that it was unable to connect to the database. The whole of WordPress works off a MySQL database, in case you didn’t know. Yesterday evening it was working fine and no problems. I have no idea what could have happened but I was really glad of having a backup. I use a Database back up tool plugin that sends me by email every day the database zipped up to my gmail account. Worth its weight in gold this morning.

I was able to open up Cyberduck , my FTP application and upload the database to the correct folder and it appeared in the Godaddy account MySQL page for restoring from. Really easy to do and a total life saver.

Don’t forget that you can get 10% discount off your order at Godaddy when you use the code POD146
